About JJ

I primarily photograph people and movements.

I strive to be spontaneous, creative, and unobtrusive. A million pictures later, I have yet to find anyone to be un-photogenic.

My home is in Philadelphia, with bases in Washington, DC and Geneva, Switzerland. I am fluent in French and conversational in Spanish.

I use my work to celebrate and empower communities working for positive change in the world.
To that end, I make all of my images available online on a "pay what you can" basis for personal use.
Community support allows me to discount my rates for artists and activists.
